Install your new watch face

Choose your watch in Google Play, finish the installation, then select your new face on the watch. Available Pixelpond faces have their own Play listings, so you can go directly to the one you want.

Step by step

Open the face’s Google Play listing. Use the Google Play link on an available Pixelpond face page, or search for the face in the Play Store on your watch.
Choose your watch. On your phone or the web, choose your watch in Google Play’s device selector when offered. If it is missing, try the listing from the watch’s Play Store and check the face’s software requirements.
Finish installation on the watch. Follow Google Play’s prompts and let the watch download finish. Opening a phone Setup guide does not mean the watch face has been installed or selected.
Open the watch face picker. Touch and hold the current watch face, then browse the picker. Look under Add watch face if the new face is not in the main list. Menu names vary by watch.
Set it as your active face. Tap the face to apply it. Open Customize to adjust colours, complications, and any options the face offers, then tap to confirm.

Frequently asked questions

Which watches are supported?

Use a Samsung Galaxy Watch running Wear OS or a Google Pixel Watch. Check the exact Wear OS requirement on the face’s page and its availability in Google Play; the watch model alone does not establish compatibility. Older Tizen-based Samsung watches are not supported.

Do I install from the watch or the phone?

You can start from either. On a phone or the web, choose the watch as the installation destination when Google Play offers it. You can also open the listing directly in the watch’s Play Store.

I installed the face but can't find it. Where is it?

Check that installation finished on the watch, rather than only on your phone. Then open the watch face picker and look for Add watch face. Installing a face and selecting it are separate steps.

Do I need the Pixelpond app or a Setup guide?

No Pixelpond account or marketplace app is needed to install an available standalone face from its Play listing. An optional face-specific Setup guide helps with installation, selection and settings; it does not replace the watch installation.

Does a watch face collect my data?

Read the privacy policy linked from the face’s page or app. A watch face, its optional Setup guide and the Pixelpond marketplace can have different data practices.
